About Items with Encaustic
You can do lots of nice things with beeswax. Items with Encaustic are fun and unique and it is practical to paint a wooden surface with beeswax. Once the wax is hardened, you can polish it, to give the surface a glare. The wood is protected and you can wipe the surface with a damp cloth. The results are surprising and unique, because you cannot control the beeswax completely. It is very fun to do.

I only use quality materials.
I paint with beeswax from R&F and Encaustic Art. These paints are highly pigmented and the colors are bright and deep and they will last. By polishing the wax, the colors will shine.

I made these works on various surfaces: a wooden box or on MDF material.
I polished the surfaces to give them a glare and these works are varnished for protection against scratching with a special encaustic varnish. It preserves the satin look of the encaustic and brings out the colors even more.
